The AC 8.500-1 packs incredible flexibility and power into the most compact crane in its capacity class, with the shortest carrier length for any 8-axle crane at 17.1m and optimized transport weight and dimensions for all attachments. With a luffing jib, the AC 8.500-1 reaches a maximum system length of 145.8m. Short rigging times and smart, thoughtful designs boost productivity and safety. The patented Sideways Superlift (SSL) ensures enormous lifting capacity enhancements while the star-type outrigger design provides additional stability. The IC-1 Plus control system allows it to always take advantage of the maximum available lifting capacity when the outriggers are extended in an asymmetrical configuration.
